LINK BUILDING

Get in touch. There's no obligation.

When you consider some of the extravagant claims on the Net for the importance of link building, you might be forgiven for considering giving up everything else to do with your online business so you can spend all your time link building!

But let's stay calm and look at the reality...

There are two reasons for seeking to establish inbound links from relevant web sites to your own:

  1. To generate additional referrals to your site
  2. To assist your search engine rankings

Additional Referrals

The reality here is that, for the great majority of sites, links from other web sites will generate very modest volumes of referrals, particularly when compared with the traffic that will flow from good Google rankings. If you have a statistics package for your web site, have a look and see.

Assisting Search Engine Rankings

The number of good quality, relevant links to your web site is one of the factors that will determine your rankings in the principal search engines, but it is only one, and not the most important.

Forget link building if you haven't got good well-written content and your site hasn't been optimised for its target keywords!

So, What To Do?

If you have put in the hard work required to make your web site content as good as it can be and you have effectively optimised your site, it's worth setting as one of your many ongoing business tasks, the steady, methodical establishment of links with relevant, quality web sites.

You are likely to know your area of business better than any SEO company, and, with a little thought and research, you may well be able to come up with a number of possible organisations - including online directories - who would be willing to place a link to your web site, possibly, but not necessarily on a reciprocal basis.

And, how about researching your top ranking competitors' link partners? If they are in the same business as you and they have good quality links that are boosting their search engine rankings, it is likely that at least some of these link partners will be relevant to, and of benefit to, your web site. We can do competitor link partner research on your behalf.

And if you haven't the time or inclination to conduct your own link building programme, we are, of course, more than willing to quote for running one on your behalf.
